Temple Night!

I love Temple nights. We met my parents at Outback before hand (even better!). I think I ate my weight in food. Bloomin' Onion, Caesar salad, Prime Rib, Backed Potato, and Raspberry Cheesecake... Yikes! It didn't seem that bad until I typed it all out...
Good thing I took a picture before we ate! This is my new favorite skirt. I'm in love with its comfy-ness!

The other day at work I was organizing t-shirts in the back and caught my finger on a screw. I would rather gouge into myself ANYWHERE than on a knuckle of a finger... It hurts and it's still hurting!

Insta-Gram

I love the random photo's I find on my phone! Like this one from when I chopped my hair off. I didn't have a SINGLE split end after that one.

And the times you spend with your sister and her kids at your favorite park which you miss so much!

I love this bridge, because it always means I went home for a visit :)

The sunny days when you are inspired to work on your sketchbook outside...

Or when you work at Converse and get to dress normal for work. (But then you think of work and you want to delete the picture).

P.S. Thanks for all the cake-up tips.. I will put those to good use!

Throwback Tuesday (which should be Thursday)

This song came on shuffle today and I had a flood of memories from last summer

I was looking through my planner (which is more like my journal) and I found all the dates of our relationship. How the heck did it happen all so fast?

Sometime in April- Went to the singles ward, was introduced to Aaron and his friend, and he thought to himself "she's too young" and that was the end of that!

July 8th- The Bon Fire
Aaron was helping another friend by setting me up and inviting me to a bon fire for the friend... I can't really remember if the friend was actually there...? ;)

July 10th- "Watch" a movie at his house
Yeah, we all know what THAT means...

Every single day after this we saw each other, but here are the memorable ones

July 14th- Met his mom and sister for dinner then the trampoline park!
Yep, six days after we officially met!

July 16th- I actually have written down:
"Movie night, not sure what the movie was.."

July 17th- Dinner at Aaron's dads then off to Courtney's to meet my mom

July 23rd- Road trip to my parents house for the weekend

July 24th- Let's get married?

July 26th- Just a little ring browsing

August 26th- Aaron popped the question, and I had a ring on my finger! (Click the tab above for the story)

This song just reminds me of when Aaron first made me listen to it.
He said "we should get married in January and make a music video invite to this song."
Me: "January? that's way too soon!"

How he changed my thought process? Slowly.

I'll just go back to school and we can get married next summer.
I'll just go back for one semester and then we can plan a summer wedding
I'll just switch my classes to online and live with my parents so we can visit on weekends
I'll do online classes but move to Bham and we can plan our June wedding

What really happened:
I'll just switch all my classes to online, get an apartment a mile away from yours that we can end up moving into and stay right here so we can get married in February.

Gotta love him!
and all the fun fun adventures we've had and some that are heading our way!!!

Cake Up

Natural face.
Airbrush makeup is the only tip they had for me here

Mascara and occasional Eye Liner.
That is the extent to my make up genius. Thanks to Pinterest I get a few extra tips but I have a big question for all you pretties out there.

What brands do you like?
I have been on the hunt for some kind of light powder of some sort to just even up my skin.
Everything I've ever tried feels like i'm wearing a mask. Is there a way to look like this without feeling greasy?

I need something that will help, not add break outs!!

Maybe I'm asking too much. Just let me know if you have ANY product you love!

What do you do in the summertime?

Nothing beats the trampoline on a warm day. Getting all toasty and maybe catching a few z's here and there. I love the sun.

Nothing beats fresh fresh fresh berries full of lush and lots of flavor!

Nothing beats a little boy chillin' on a cooler...

Nothing beats having a birthday at the zoo and getting a new Buzz toy!

...and Nothing can beat the one on one face off these two had. Thank goodness for the glass or else little L would have taken him down to china town!
