Tis the Season

To buy your children Diaper Jeans!
Lucas was NOT a fan

These boys better get used to "The Stupidness"

Poor little L

So I had a bunch of Christmas cards from my family staked up on my counter and I decided I needed to find home for them. What better place than on the fridge! Isn't that where mail with pictures go anyway?
All I did was magnet a ribbon in three places and close-pin the rest on

This week is kind of a big week for me. Not only am I down to weighing 135!!!! But I also get to go home and be with my family for Christmas and make a special stop on the way down.
Plus on Tuesday is my bridal shower!!!
Bring on the embarrassing gifts! I'm so ready for them.

Baking Soda is not just for Baking!

Clearasil Ultra Overnight Scrub

These two little nuggets right here are doing the trick!
All you have to do is mix 3 part baking soda to 1 part water to make a paste, scrub/exfoliate away for about two minutes, rinse with warm water, and boom shacka lacka. It feels so great, I have never had my skin feel more clean. Then I use the Clearasil overnight lotion to moisture up and off to bed! It's so great after a long day of heavy make-up where you just feel a tad greasy and a couple extra pounds. (I actually don't really wear that much make-up, but I can imagine it would work that way).

It's my new nightly routine along with trying not to touch my face at all, and it has made a difference. I am here to testify that it works and it's not another "natural remedy" made of exotic ingredients. No need to skin a snake for it's venom ladies and gents, just head to your "local" grocery store and pick up some of this!

PS.
Have YOU ever reached the end of the internet? I sure have...

A little bit of Ikea

Canada is a little strange. The traffic makes no sense, I feel lost all the time, and they clearly do not use the metric system. But they are the closest Ikea, and adventure is fun.
Sparkling fruit anyone?

Strange desserts

Veggie pasta.. yumm:)

Fries and choco milk

H.O.T.

Now for my list of things to do today:
1. Finish two of my online classes
2. Call into work and see if I have to go in
3. Clean clean clean while listening to Christmas music
4. Go through all the mail that has accumulated
5. Go to the gym and work it so hard
6. Not be lazy just because it's shark week and I feel gross
7. Maybe go to Lynden
8. Get bundled up and drive through Fairhaven tonight with Aaron looking at Christmas lights

ps. This card game is actually REALLY fun. I hate Monopoly because it's slow and the trading and people trying to convince other people of "good deals" drives me insane. This game is pretty fast and there are cards like "Forced Steal" that you can steal sets from other people and a "Just say No" card so you can nix anyone else trying to steal... Anyway, Aaron got it because he loves Monopoly and we've played it every night. It's fun! So if you're looking for a little extra stocking stuffer this is a great new card game.

Lack of Sleep

So I decide to blog in the wee hours of the night.

Holiday craftiness is in the air! If I could paint my walls (and not have to paint them back to white when I move out in 6 months..) This would look even better. It's made out of tulle and some little Christmas decorations found at Michaels:

What I did:
1. Use a circular wreath core (it can really be anything circular you can tie tulle onto)
I found one at Michaels that had a few different layers of sizing for the metal part

2. Buy tulle, and a lot of it. I probably used about 5 or 6 yards (it's cheap!)

3. cut the tulle into stripes and make loops knots around the center wreath core

You really can figure this one out on your own, and there are many ways to do it!
This was my practice round for the one I made my lovely Sister in law (and Brother)

They really start to fluff out and puff up once they hang for a while and look even better!
There are so many variations to this so make your own and add more bling or keep it simple, even different colored tulle! Just do it.

I just can't stay away!

Oh my lanta! Talk about the cutest couple of all time.
read it here

This made me really excited, I relate a lot to this couple and I think they are just a year ahead of me in my life. We had the same dating situations and I understand every word she types. I can't wait to look back on this time right now like she does and "remember."
I love remembering.
It brings back all those emotions we were going through.
So much good in so little time.
I wouldn't change it for the world.

This is my motto for the week:
