chew on this
My religion class is really making me start to think deeper...
Elder M. Russell Ballard said:
"Do not let one day go by…when you do not demonstrate to the Lord that you are reliable, that you are trustworthy, that you are dedicated...that you are on his side, for He is getting acquainted with the young men and the young women of the Church today….Every day of your life he gets acquainted…"
"Then, after he has watched you and after you have demonstrated your faithfulness by your service and by your ability to keep your priorities straight in your life, along comes a need for a high councilor, a Primary president, a Relief Society president, a bishop, or a stake president; and the Lord makes it known to the responsible priesthood leader that you are ready…"
"Resolve what you have to do to be better and live with this commitment: “Heavenly Father, I will be ready in every way-spiritually, physically, emotionally—for whatever it is that thou wouldst have me do in the building of the Kingdom on the earth."

WOW.
Think about it
Do Work
This morning has been fabulous!
I woke up around 10am
(yes I had to set an alarm for that)
I rolled out of bed and made myself a bowl of cereal
and got motivated!

Well, I didn't exactly do that...
More like this:

But who's bragging.
So I did some P90X "stretching"
(which is stupid, because it's just yoga minus the fun stretching parts)
(So next time i'll just do my favorite yoga moves)
I put on my neon pink sports bra and headed out
(With a t-shirt and yoga pants too of course)
I drove down to the bay
Rocked my new favorite shoes:
I went for a run all the way along the water.
Smiling at every person I made eye contact with
Change a few peoples lives
and headed back home.
I got home
Did Ab Ripper
(some of it)
and am writing this blog post while eating snap peas
and dreaming of fitting into my wedding dress.

BECAUSE

So now are you motivated to get out there and start working out!?
Nike was right
JUST DO IT.

Gadget talk
I'm a sucker for cute things.
unfortunately cute things sometimes are suckers...
For instance, this looks like it would be so handy right?
Avocados can be a pain sometimes.
problem solved!
NOT
you can't get it to really get the edge
and it doesn't come off!
AVOCADO WASTER
Lame.
I was excited about this.
Another thing,
I absolutely love these;
The fancy little scrubber for dishes so you don't have to get your hands wet and touch gross stuff
But it's a soap sucker!
I filled that whole entire handle (which is a ton of soap)
less than a month ago,
It's almost gone.
SOAP SUCKER!
My last one wasn't this bad.
So I color coordinated my closet and all is well again
Sorry for all the awful pictures lately.
I promise to take some good ones asap.
I'm sick though and just decided on the ipod pictures for today.
My nose is so red and sore from going through a whole box of kleenexs today
BOO, being sick is gross.

If only I was made of $$$
I would buy more clothes from Buckle. For example, this lovely sweater right here:
I love it!
(Kate and Courtney.. you can't go buy it, it's mine)
On a side note,
That WOMEN sign right there,
that was for Aaron.
Another thing for Aaron is what i'm doing today...
it's not very pleasant, and I will leave it at that.
This blog post is going nowhere and probably doesn't make sense.
Just remember, I love this sweater.

I don't believe it
I usually don't even look at these or want to believe them but this months horoscope was strangely correct:
"History, Poli Sci, Psych 101...whatevs. Your major this month is socializing, but hey, isn't success about who you know? Sure, and you can also combine work and play by meeting at your favorite café for a study date, then heading off to your favorite diner to gab over disco fries once the work is done. Your homebody side comes out after the 23rd, and you're in the mood for quality time with your closest female friends. If your room or home is in a state of disorder, do some decorating and nesting. Is your budget tighter than you like? After the 18th, you could find an exciting job or internship opportunity. Be proactive and gutsy-don't wait for it to land in your lap. Tension in a close relationship has plagued you since the spring, but this month, it finally clears up. You're now able to listen to each other without flying off the handle or pointing fingers. Lesson learned: when something's bothering you, address it as soon as possible instead of just burying it and letting the resentment grow."

Air it out
My apartment is a hurricane.
I can't get Saturday off work.
I start my new job tomorrow.
School started today.
(Online school... kill me)
If I read on another course syllabus that says
"this course is extremely rigorous"
and
"Make sure you schedule at least 8 hours a week if you want a passing C grade"
I think I might just curl up in the corner and cry for a bit.
Plus Aaron is gone in Alaska and this is the longest I have ever gone without seeing him.
WORST WEEK EVER!
Oh and I have to go in to Deliahs after I work at Victoria Secret and give them my VS schedule
so they can schedule me the other days.
I don't even think I have 8 hours a week for ONE class,
let alone FOUR!
Three jobs.
Four Classes.
this isn't adding up.
I don't think i'm going to be able to even have any free time between now and the wedding.
I don't want to go to school mommy!!!
Don't make me!!!

WHOWZA
Well.. here it goes,
I'm engaged!!!!
If you click on the two new tabs at the top of my page you can find out
the dating stories and the proposal:)
It was perfect. He is perfect.
So the plan is to get married sometime in January,
Finish school online.
Possibly be working 3 jobs.
I work at the Ice Cream shop now and was recently offered a job in the mall
at dELiA*s
Still waiting to hear back from Victoria's Secret
and am living it up in my own apartment loving life and Aaron.
It feels great to know that:
I don't have to go on another awkward date again
I have a ring on my left finger that is gorgeous
I don't have to wear my fake one at work anymore
Old men won't hit on me at work (hopefully)
I know that I have someone with me for eternity
I know my kids will be good looking!
In January I get to go to Hawaii:)
My parents are happy about everything
The man i'm about to marry fits perfectly with my family.
I get to go dress shopping this week in Idaho!
I can publicly say that I am in love with Aaron.
"He stole my heart, so I'm stealing his last name"
xoxo
