A Series of Unfortunate Events

So today I decided to meal plan for 3 weeks and make a big shopping trip to Winco. I made a list calling my mom for recipes and reviewing my Pinterest board to get a good variety of meals.
After an hour or so of planning I set off to Winco (20min drive)
I got all my needed items including amazing avocados and tons of bulk items like noodles and nuts out of the dispenser things.
I went to check out and it only was $88. That's nothing for all the good meals I was about to make. I was ready to be a good housewife for once and make Aaron a month of no repeated dinners and all delicious with leftovers for his lunches.

Then I realized they don't take credit.

I panicked a little but headed over to the ATM to withdrawal $100 and all would be fine.

INVALID PIN...

It was the only pin, I called Aaron to see if there was another one, tried it and it rejected me yet again. Clearly the universe did not want me to be able to get my hour and a half worth of groceries.
So I snuck out the door and hopefully the lady at the register didn't get too mad when she realized I wasn't coming back and I'm very sorry to the person who had to put away all my groceries, but hey, in the spirit of the election I was creating jobs.

I got in the car, shed a few tears, and went to Fred Meyer. Started my shopping. The Avocados were brown and squishy and twice the price.
I had in my cart so far Chicken, Butter, Potatoes, Popcorn, and random cans of Cream Of's
I couldn't go any longer. I had to pee, and everything was so much more than I had just seen at Winco. I was depressed and it was time to
BREAK THE WRIST AND WALK AWAY.
I checked out. Spent $20 and the clueless lady at the checkout got excited when she asked if I was making caramel corn. Little did she know I was the crankiest pregnant lady she'd ever met at the moment and I just wish I had everything on my list for $88.

After 3 and a half hours out of the house on my journey to become a great wifey,
We're having baked potatoes for dinner.

For Maternity Fashion Sake

Being pregnant is the best. I love the challenge of trying to look cute again and not gigantic.

Find people who have been pregnant and take all their maternity essentials (Reason 39847928374 it's great to have sisters).

Sweatershirts can go really good or really bad. Hoodies can make you look gigantic

Sweaters are a girls best friend

Sweater 2 & Layering is still available. You just have to do it right!

I know, I'm only six months pregnant and not gigantic yet, but that can create the difference of just looking overweight and having a belly bump.
I love creating a tiny human. Minus the creepy dreams of being able to see my babys face through my stomach...
Hopefully the dresser/ changing table combo my parents got us will arrive in the mail today!
Better get out of bed and dressed so the delivery guy can bring it in, definitely not lifting 80 pounds through my front door.

For your FYI

Just in case you didn't know, to get your Instagram pictures easily onto your computer without having to email them all to yourself, there is a site called InstaPort

If you click the advanced options you can choose how many photo's it will upload as well so you don't have to download all of them every time.

The Question

I thought it was just a phase, but seriously do people not know what to say to pregnant women other than "how are you feeling?"
a. I know you honestly don't care
b. half the time that is the whole conversation
c. I still feel like a normal human being
d. There are no secret "feelings" of pregnancy that I am about to share with you

The other day at work I was standing behind the counter folding some t shirts, when a Chinese man waiting for his entourage decided to start conversing. I caught about three English words; Converse, outdoors, meaning of. I put those three words together in the best of my imagination and thought he was telling me a story of the meaning of Converse. He went on for about 2 or 3 minutes and I just nodded saying yeah and ohhhhh. Clearly I didn't calculate the situation well enough because he stopped with that look on his face waiting for a response and 'oh' was not the right answer.

What do you do? It was too late to ask any questions. I had just listened and pretended to understand the entire conversation.
Maybe I'm just awkward. I know I am a little bit, but I figured "I don't know" was my best chance. He nodded and walked away.

I still will never know what we really talked about that day.

ANYWAY,
Work is going, the weather is amazing, and my husband comes home for lunch everyday now which makes me happy!
I am trying really hard to gain weight and people are finally feeling comfortable to ask when the baby's due.
School is keeping me busy and I'm two classes and two months away from my degree! The end is in sight and I have a lot to look forward to in the next six months including finishing school forever, giving birth, and going on a family vaca to Hawaii!!

and Wicked was amazing, as always!

23 ish

CRAVINGS:
Captain Crunch
Strawberries
Cleaning the House!

I said I wanna see you again... but i'm stuck in colder weather

FINALLY!!!

I love looking out my window in the morning and not being able to see across the field. I love wind and when it makes a lot of noise. I love the rain and watching people scurry, but most of all I love jackets and coats!

I've lived in Washington pretty much my entire life and owned an umbrella maybe once (it broke walking to the bus stop). The only time I've used an umbrella was in Idaho. One thing you need to know, not all rain is made equal! In Rexburg if it rains it pours (symbolically too of course). I remember being drenched walking to and from classes, so I gave in. Washington rain however is a nice little mist most of the time, that lets us have the greenest green's and most amazing landscapes. I'll take that over vomiting rain and snow that kills all the grass ANY DAY!
