I also live in Washington so some of the Pacific Northwest staples may be different from.. let's say Idaho!
SHOES I worked at Converse for a while so I am partial to liking their shoes (and have quite a collection just because they were so cheap for me), but in all honesty, these shoes go with EVERYTHING and they will never go out of style.
JACKETS Like I mentioned, in WA you wear a jacket/sweatshirt basically every day of the year so I have quite a collection of these as many of you can attest for but here are two of my GO-TOs
a windbreaker type shell, mine is coral, with a hood and waterproof! So nice for being outside in the rain but super lightweight so you don't get "all hotted up"

and a rocking sweatshirt that is not only comfy, but cute. When my husband worked at Pacsun it was my weakness to use his discounts and buy all the cute sweatshirts.
PANTS The most important thing is a killer pair of jeans. Jeans can make a whole outfit look better. I suggest to invest in Buckle and give in to blinging your booty out. It works wonders.

I have a soft spot for Miss Me's and my straight legged ones are my fav. I can roll them a bit for warmer days and still wear them with shoes on rainy days. They are definitely worth their price because they last FOREVER
SWEATERS are fabulous and I can't find a good picture for my favorite one but it is grey with a lace back and it works with all of those "need a sweater" shirts or weather situations. Here is another great sweater:
That's all for now! Aaron is back from playing basketball and brought me Oreo's and milk so I better go!
