I've been terrible at blogging lately because of the start of my new job! Turns out scooping ice cream was not the only thing I signed up for. Along with working in the shop and making beautiful ice cream cones, I also have to learn how to make the best milkshakes, soft serve, coffee (sounds easy, but for a girl who has never drank a cup of coffee or even been around it, there is a lot to learn), I get to re-stock all the milk and products in the fridge section, and I get to learn all the buttons on the cash register, and some other random physical labor projects. Turns out I have been whooped and blogging wasn't a priority.

HOWEVER!!! Courtney and I learned some photoshop magic and made this:

We really love it a lot. A little copy and paste never hurt anyone ;)

I really should get some sleep though, have fun messing with photoshop and make some beautiful things!

Spring Shopping

Being back in the great northwest has caused some type of allergy or flu of some kind that I am not too fond of right about now. On the bright side, I went with my mom and sister to the Tacoma Mall this morning--which may I add has an H&M AND a FOREVER21 that used to be the Nordstrom--imagine how huge that is.

So this is what I found:  (Excuse the mirror I need to Windex)

 Shirt & Belt- H&M

I'm in love with this bow belt!

Heels- FOREVER21, last pair in the entire store MY SIZE :)

Another H&M shirt

Yes, this is the one. The H&M bracelet I bought at Christmas-time that I lost somewhere at BYU-Idaho taking off my pea coat. They still had it! Once again, LAST one in the whole store!!! I'm so happy, I may have cried a little when I realized I had lost it. But all is well again!

You know those times when you have a faucet nose and no matter how many times you blow it, you just don't ever feel satisfied? I think I need some Puff Tissues with lotion in them.

I must get better by Saturday. I think it will happen!

Opportunities

A & D are MARRIED!!!!

I got to take some pictures at their reception which reminds me.. Do any of my fellow blogger friends want to buy a basically brand new (no scratches, nothing wrong, prefect condition) Canon Rebel XS digital SLR camera? I want to upgrade so I am trying to sell her. It's a great camera and I only got t last summer, I just feel like if I really want to get better, I should get a better camera.

I've only edited a few of them, but here are my favorites so far:

Some days I just have a lot to say

So I get excited and post twice. But The first one was just a deed that had to be done so this one i'm considering my nightly post.

Speaking of nights.. This was the gorgeous 50 degree hot spell that occurred tonight. It was so nice outside!! There was a slight breeze but it (for once) wasn't freezing. So Kyla and I got on our swim suits and ran through the sprinklers.
..Well actually we put on our sweatshirts and went for an evening stroll until it was dark. But hey, at least we didn't have to put on our coats.

Another sad loss in our apartment. We finally took her and softly set her in the dumpster for the next pick up so she can go on and start a new journey.
If you can see our favorite fun-house mirror is now cracked in a billion places. I was told that it was found just laying on the ground.. but I think "someone" was pulling a Snow White and it couldn't handle reflecting the unfortunate white child. (By the way, this happened when I was in California.. so it was definitely not me).

Thoughts of Summer

I just can't wait! Warm weather, boating, Washington, water, sun, our beach, family, country music, fun pictures, good home-cooked meals, working in the ice cream shop with Kyla, and staying out late in a t shirt and shorts and coming home smelling like campfire:) THEE BEST EVER

Oh and actually being tan again..

Glittified

Glitter makes everything better. I would glitter everything if it weren't so messy. I do however love glittering my toe nails. Put clear nail-polish on and just dump glitter while it's still wet. LOVE IT!! I did blue glitter for my sister right before she went into the hospital to give birth to her adorable little boy :)
Since I love it so much I decided one day that I would give it its own photoshoot. So I did, and there it is, and it made me happy.

THE END.

Art Major

Being an Art major is requiring me to take a whole bundle of Art History classes.  What we're learning is extremely interesting but at the beginning i was thinking it was a mistake to take Art History I and Medieval Art the same semester. I am memorizing the name, artist, and era for about 40 paintings and sculptures for EACH class. Insanity! Not to mention the fact that they are "art" so just about every man in the book is naked. They all look very similar so you REALLY have to take a good look. Blechhh.. Just when I thought my brain was going to shift into overload, a miracle happened. For my Art History class, the last two sections are going over the Islamic and Early Christian era's, therefore; I already know all of the art because those were the last section of my Medieval Art class!!!! I have never been so happy to see the title of a section be Medieval in my entire life.
In Rexburg, today is a bit of a gloomy grey day. It made me a little happy to see a slight drizzle rather than a snow drift up against my window. It makes me even more excited to go back home for the summer.. IN FOUR WEEKS!!!
IDAHO vs. WASHINGTON?
Washington wins ANY DAY!!! I am not a big fan of the land-locked-ness
