Lake Hopping

On Saturday the weather was superb so we headed out to Lake Ki to try and fish (The dock was packed and actually half underwater with too many people so we laid on the grass instead) and then headed later that night to the Lake Stevens waterfront. It was fun and I got to work on my sunny day picture taking!

Morning snuggles in the big bed

He had a bit of a sneeze/cough the last couple days and was having trouble sleeping since he was so flemmy, I finally got him to take a long nap on the couch and he actually just layed there until he fell asleep. That's a first!

He also found the wipes container... diaper changing is a wrestle now. Time to rearrange! 

Aaron took us out to dinner the other night... found out the finals were on and that's the only reason we went out. Nice dinner conversation... (or lack of)

Soul Searching

I've been thinking lately about hobbies. I have quite a lot of hobbies, but none of them I am 100% into or good at. I love sewing- but not pinning, patterns, or taking more than 15 minutes. I love photography- but I don't feel like I have enough knowledge, resources, or subjects to really practice and get good (and my sister already mastered that one so it's hard to compare to greatness). I love painting and drawing- but I really am only good at copying things. I love designing and home decorating- but there are not enough rooms in the house to keep going at it and we're renting so I am limited. I love sports- but I don't have time away from a baby to be a coach quite yet. I love fashion- but there is never enough money to fulfill that dream. I love being a mom- but sometimes I want to be able to bring in a little dough. I don't love baking- but recently I found I'm pretty good at making bread! I like hair and make-up- but my mom told me I wasn't allowed to go to beauty school.

I know that when I'm older and my kids are all babysittable I will try to become a volleyball coach and that will be my niche, but for now I am searching for something to do. I am a half jack of all trades.. Maybe my fear of commitment is stopping me from just delving in.

Four Months

My happy boy was four months old last week and I finally got around to uploading the pics I took of him.

Sucking on everything in sight

AND he can roll! He's mastered front to back and is SO CLOSE to back to front.

He's starting to get so interactive and fun and we're loving every second of it! With the days starting earlier he had a few days of waking up WAY TOO EARLY (6:30am :) but we're back to 8am now which makes me happy and O happy happy happy!
