The start and end of another great semester

Well kids, it's finally the end of the winter semester here in Idaho. I have so many mixed feelings about leaving my family here to be with my family in WA.


The things I am dying to go back to:


-Mama's home cookin', well balanced meals, and real good MEAT!
-my queen sized bed so my feet don't hang over the end anymore
-a shower head that is tall enough so I don't have to do squats to wash my hair
-my family(♥)
-anti-freezing weather and real fresh rain!
-not having to wear a ski mask and winter attire to walk across the street
-being able to have a car and drive when needed (Mazda 6 baby!)
-not having to think about what to eat for each meal but having someone plan it for you
-working in the ice cream shop and making good $$
-my adorable nieces and nephews
-taking pictures with Courtney
-SUMMER!
-laying out and getting some sun
-going on the ferry to Seattle
-beach volleyball
-boating, vacation, and family reunion in California
-there are too many on this list I need to stop..


The things that I love about college and that will be greatly missed:


-Having a billion friends that will hang out every night of the week
-Monday night volleyball and being able to go play whenever I want
-Horkley's 44oz soda runs
-Ryan, Ali, Travis, Amber, Liz, Stephen, Marcus, Zach, Cory, Nicole, Matt, Daniel, Hudson, Luke, Adam, Sam, and all of my other homeskillets
-having people stop by just because they wanted to hang out
-rock climbing at regionals
-going on fun dates
-meeting new people left and right
-my awesome ward
-free food (via dates)
-pretty much all the great people, events, and activities that go on that make Rexburg fun




Don't forget to lock your doors and windows...

Mud on the Tires

We went to Texas Roadhouse for my cute little blonde friends 19th Birthday. They made her ride the saddle and lasso with the napkin while the whole restaurant shouted "YEE HA." Pretty sure she is the best sport in the world (minus the lasso) because she was smiling the whole time.

We ordered the huge slab of fall-off-the-bone ribs... My mouth is watering just thinking about them. I turned my books in today and my parents are on their way! 3 more easy finals left and I am OUTTA HERE!! Hello Seattle, I have greatly missed you and cannot wait to be reunited.

Beautiful Mess

Why is it sunny and warm the weekend before finals.. not fair at all!

What a great Conference weekend right?
Since I am now inside studying for my crazy art history finals I decided to take a picture of what I want to be wearing and the fact that I am stuck indoors instead of out playing in the sun.
3 more days.. 3 more days.. only 3 more!!

I recently jumped on the Pandora band wagon and I am loving it! I am rediscovering my old (and new) favorite country songs right now and earlier I was listening to some sweet folk music.

Country music--hands down--has the best lyrics... you have to admit that. You don't have to worry about them talking about inappropriate actions (yes there are a lot of drinking songs) or whipping out words you shouldn't be proud of. Plus, country music just makes me think of driving around in the hot summer days with the windows down and my shades on not worrying about a thing and having the happiest season of my life.

I need to paint my toe nails, i can't decide what color though...

I just really wish I had this whole outfit..

Summer shopping trip at the Tacoma Forever21 (which is in the building that used to be Macy's so yeah.. imagine how big and amazing that thing is!)

Some days I just have a lot to say

So I get excited and post twice. But The first one was just a deed that had to be done so this one i'm considering my nightly post.

Speaking of nights.. This was the gorgeous 50 degree hot spell that occurred tonight. It was so nice outside!! There was a slight breeze but it (for once) wasn't freezing. So Kyla and I got on our swim suits and ran through the sprinklers.
..Well actually we put on our sweatshirts and went for an evening stroll until it was dark. But hey, at least we didn't have to put on our coats.


Another sad loss in our apartment. We finally took her and softly set her in the dumpster for the next pick up so she can go on and start a new journey.

If you can see our favorite fun-house mirror is now cracked in a billion places. I was told that it was found just laying on the ground.. but I think "someone" was pulling a Snow White and it couldn't handle reflecting the unfortunate white child. (By the way, this happened when I was in California.. so it was definitely not me).

Seven things about myself? Yikes! Well...

1. I currently am in college and live off of penne noodles and alfredo sauce

2. Volleyball is my first true love but Rock Climbing has recently been fighting for the spot

3. I worked on a farm last summer and am working in an ice cream shop with my roommate this summer:)

4. I want to get a rip stick (or longboard) so I can go on adventures with my Tennessee homeskillet Morgan

5. I now can say that I drive a Red Mazda 6 which has definite bragging rights

6. I love BYU-Idaho (except the intense encouragement on dating and marriage including the statement that our first priority at this school is to find a spouse)

7. && My grandmother thinks I have 2 boyfriends

umm fifteen is kind of a lot..

I really want some pajama jeans.. They work great with sandals or sneakers! $39.95 and with the added bonus tv offer they will add a great crew neck fashion-t to complete the outfit.

studying for Finals

This is what Kyla and I do while studying for finals;

Yeah pretty much can't wait! We get to work in the Ice Cream shop together ALL SUMMER :) Plus I will be driving the red Mazda 6. We're going to be the attention suckers of the singles ward with all this going for us. Basically summer is in one week, my parents are coming up in less than one week, and I will be out of school for FIVE MONTHS!!!!!!
