I love the weather
I love that I can wear a sweatshirt or a pea-coat on the same day and be fine either way
I love that I live just minutes from "the city" but I still see tree's EVERYWHERE
I love that every other person in this town has dreds
I love that i have family so close
I love the rain
I love that I can go work out at the Y and people watch the streets from above
I love the guy who checked me out while I was attractively? doing leg raises and had a really awkward moment                  when I flashed him my left hand;)
I love the fashion trends on the streets
I love seeing all the people waiting at the bus stops
I love the hundreds of people who ride their bike everywhere being "green"
I love the protesters who have camped out in tents at the park with cardboard signs (recycled of course)
I love when the garbage truck comes by my apartment at 6 in the morning and wakes me up (oh wait I HATE THAT)
I love the constant urge to paint and be creative
I love all the parks along the water
I love all the sail boats and ships that come by
I love that I put up my Christmas tree today and watched The Grinch
I love the new tulle wreath I made (Don't worry I'll post about it)
I love the Christmas candle burning in the kitchen
I love having just the Christmas lights on at night and nothing else
and most importantly I love the boy who convinced me to move here:)

Double Trouble

I love Washington. 

I think I say that every day.

I truly do love the rain, wet, cold, fog, wind, and the sun

and in the last 3 days we have had all of the above.

I love winter also.

&& wearing layers and coats.

&& some days I just feel like dressing up and looking cute!

The break down:

Hair- Hot curlers

Coat- H&M

Cropped Pant- Target

Flats- A little boutique a long time ago

Then I took a spin on Barbie tiger toes and used purple underneath.

I like it!

Feet are gross in pictures though.. especially squished on a box.

This is all I used.

It took maybe 5 minutes longer than my plain polish changes.

The white, sparkles, and black have a SUPER skinny brush so it made it really easy to

get the thin tiger stripes. 

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas is my favorite.

I get excited way too early.

But I never get sick of it.

Today I might put up my Christmas tree.

It's November.

I'm Ready.

P.S. I love this song. And I love that I have a permanent date for all holiday events, a valentine forever, and I never have to go on another awkward date again! 

Prom Dresses

It's time to liquidate the closet and sell some dance dresses! Don't be scared, they are all super cute, I have a good fashion sense and I would never let you down. If you're anywhere from a size 5-7 keep on reading and i'll hook you up!

This is from my senior prom. I got SO MANY compliments on it. It is so flattering. I got it from Latter-DayBride.com so it's very well made and MODEST!

So this dress is a size 6, although we let it out for me since i'm in between sizes. I would say it fits like a 6 in the chest and booty but in the middle rib cage area we gave it another inch. The inside lining isn't finished off because I knew if I sold it they would want to be able to alter it to their liking. It's super easy and anyone who knows how to work a sewing machine can do it. If you let me know I can finish the inside before I get it to you if you're worried about it. It didn't bother me at all when I wore it all night.

Another thing tricky about this dress is that the bottom 3 ruffles can come off and you can wear it as a short dress maybe for a more casual dance or later on that night.

It's comfy and easy to walk in compared to some other mermaid style dresses.

I didn't have a picture of me in this one because I broke up with the boy and deleted the pictures but I promise it is flattering and modest!

The flowy-ness is really in style right now and the red under the tulle/lace is gorgeous with the cap sleeves!

Bought for $120 selling for $60

So cute how it ties in the back and you can tie it to fit you body perfectly.

It's sized as a 5/6

But it has some stretch to it and I am now probably a size 7 and I can still fit into it.

Last but not least, the most casual out of my dresses.

I wore this with a little white sweater on top and it was very cute.

It's strapless and has tulle coming out the bottom for some extra volume.
